Ana Miguel Mendes (Porto, Portugal)
Hi there! My name is Ana Miguel Mendes. I’m 20, and I was born and live in Portugal, more precisely Oporto. I’m a relaxed sort of person. Painting and drawing is my life. When I’m drawing it feels like I’m having an out of body experience. To this day I still can’t believe I can draw! Its such a gift. I sing everyday. It just makes me a happier person. Music is very important to me. I’m thinking about starting my own rock band, actually. You’ll see that I usually post a lot of music related stuff, especially when it comes to Tokio Hotel. I’m absolutely in love with bands and singers li...

Joshua Vegas (Brampton, ON, Canada)
Joshua Vegas (also known as "Nneka Atto") is a Toronto-based self-taught graphite pencil artist, with a minimalist flair. Art has always been one of Joshua's passions, and the artist has been drawing and doodling since childhood. After experimenting with various mediums, Joshua finds ease and comfort in using graphite pencil due to both its accessibility and versatility. The artist's work is largely influenced by minimalism, for--according to Joshua--"less is more." This statement also describes the artist's outlook on life, which is primarily based upon minimalist philosophy: once the exce...

Erick Miguel Trejo (Santiago de Quer?taro, Quer?taro, Mexico)
Mi name is Erick Miguel Trejo. I was born in a small city in Mexico, but lived almost half of my life in the beautiful state of Georgia in the United States. I returned to my home country just recently to form a family and to develop both personally and professionally. Even though I studied programming at the university, I consider myself as an artist at heart. I made my first drawings as soon as I could hold a pencil, unfortunately, given that I did not have my first formal art classes until I was at the university I have progressed and gained experience ¨slowly¨ ;P My main source of i...

I've been playing in Heavy Metal and Punk Rock bands for the past 20 or so years of my life, but drawing has been in my life since I learned to hold a pencil. This is what I do. My art can be graphic and surreal in nature, and generally has no specific message to relate. I’m just your typical Heavy Metal, Science Fiction Horror buff, that loves to draw.

Thaddeus Daruszka (Buffalo, NY, USA)
Life long artist born and raised in Buffalo, New York. Ive been drawing ever since I was old enough to pick up a crayon, and my entire life I always knew I wanted to be a professional artist. I am fully self taught with the exception of studying and receiving a diploma in Advertising Arts during high school. At 17 I started my own airbrushing business during my senior year. In 2009 I further combined my love of art and fashion and founded my business Tekneek Custom Sneakers & Apparel, specializing in hand painted custom sneakers and clothing. And recently I decided to return back to my root...

Custom, hand-drawn portraits from your favorite photos. These are drawn on 8.5 x 11 white art paper with graphite and white charcoal, and treated to prevent smudging. Limit 3 subjects due to paper size (to maintain detail integrity).

I have been drawing portraits for almost a decade, and specialize in pets and people. The eyes are my favorite part of a subject to draw, since they show the sparkle and personality. One of the things I love most about drawing is the way it made me see that there is beauty in everything. I am able to draw any person or pet as long as the reference photo sent is clear. I can combine more than one photo to get the look you want. I use bristol board paper, and protect each piece with a fixative to prevent fading or smudging.

Painting is a self imposed discipline. My work is essentially about people. Painting people is a way of connecting to my environment in way I could never say or write down in words. It is about identity and questioning assumptions of fixity within signs. I am interested in the mechanisms we use to project values on to or judge people using common cultural visual markers - in semiotic terms, signs - like clothes, haircuts, jewellery, tattoos. How quickly we arrive at value statements and judgements about personality and background by the way someone looks. My work has been exhibited at t...

Tanaya Kollipara (Pleasanton, CA, USA)
Hi, my name is Tanaya Kollipara. Although I am only in high school, I have a passion for art, and a love for helping others, which has brought me here to this site. One hundred percent (100%) of the proceeds of my art will go to buying nonperishable food items, which will then be donated to my local food bank. In this way, I am able to give back to my community through something that I love. My preferred medium for my art is charcoal, graphite pencils, and pen and ink. I also do enjoy using color pencils and pastels. And my preferred subject (to draw) is people. More specifically, I love to...
